Our Story

Originally from Alaska, Ben and Vince headed in different directions through life only to end up sharing the same dream. Despite his love of art, Ben earned degrees in Economics and Religion and worked as a crime victim advocate in Washington. Meanwhile, after receiving his first digital camera from Ben, Vince pursued his passion directly and was offered a position in Seattle working for Jim Garner, one of the Top Ten Wedding Photographers in the World. After exposing Ben to the art of wedding photography it only took capturing one wedding together to realize this was their calling. Eventually bringing them to Boston to open Avenna Studios.
